Construction works are accompanied by an inherent problem of noise, i.e. sounds that may have a negative impact on our health. Spatially propagating sound waves are vibrations of air particles, and by changing their density a pressure difference is created. Very loud sounds, hence large pressure differences may damage hearing as well as organs in the human body. It is therefore important to prevent and reduce noise wherever it may be a hazard. Acoustic screens and sound absorbing mats are effective tools to reduce the impact of noise.

Exnoiser R25 reduce noise to a maximum of 25dB in just a single layer. Sound-absorbing mats achieved the result in the examination executed by accredited laboratory – Maritime Advanced research Centre Inc (Laboratorium Badań Wibroakustycznych Centrum Techniki Okrętowej S.A. ) Exflo company’s purpose for creating Exnoiser mats was a comprehensive noise reduction, especially in outdoor conditions and constant weather exposure.
Dimensions and the system of mounting holes make it possible to join the modules repeatedly and to build safe, large noise barriers based on any construction. Depending on barrier height requirements these mats can be assembled on fences, scaffoldings and other constructions of a proper size. Full adjustment to a local wind zone is equally important.

Exnoiser’s R25 acoustic properties were confirmed by RS-20189/B-268 study report of 11-07-2018 executed by Maritime Advanced research Centre Inc. (sound insulation and standardized sound pressure difference according to PN-EN ISO10140-2:2011, accreditation PCA AB1241).

The character of sound waves propagation determines the way of noise barriers position – they ought to be situated as close as possible to the source of sound. It is worth remembering about the 45⁰ angle’s rule – , i.e. it should occur in the following position: sound source – noise barrier height, sound source – the edge of noise barrier. It should also be taken into consideration that the engines and aggregates generate heat during their work and the maximum Exnoiser working temperature is 70⁰ C. Exceeding this value will result in irreversible damage. To achieve the best noise reduction effect we recommend conducting a professional acoustic analysis, in which a location and precise noise barrier parameters will be indicated.
While assembling acoustic mats a special attention should be paid to a few more essential details. To start with, it is fixing each of the Exnoiser mats in appropriate mounting point quantities (most often by the strong band clips) and on the firmly anchored resistance construction for which the wind pressure was considered. Moreover mats should never rub against angular construction elements due to the wind. This will prevent them from getting damaged.
